Dear participant,

This is with great pleasure that KAICIID welcomes you to our e-learning course: “Using Interreligious Dialogue (IRD) To Strengthen Peace, Reconciliation and Social Cohesion”.

My name is Georgia Gleoudi, I will be your KAICIID moderator for this session. I am available at any time to answer your questions and assist you. Please use this address to contact me:

georgia.gleoudi@kaiciid.org

My aim is to provide you with the best learning experience and give you the opportunity to share your views and experience, learn from others and build your own network through our course.

The course was specifically designed to address the evolving needs of religious leaders, policy and decision makers, IRD practitioners and representatives from academic and training institution. The course is made of 8 Modules, with interactive lessons, discussion forums, evaluation quizzes, case studies and group works.

Our experts will lead you through the basic concepts, methodologies, models and tools needed to use IRD for peace and reconciliation. If you achieve a minimum total score of 700 for the entire course and complete the mandatory activities, you will receive a KAICIID Certificate of Completion.

Each Monday morning, 10.00 a.m Portugal time, the next Module will be available. It gives you one week to go through the videos and quizzes of the Module. The workload is estimated around 3 hours maximum per week. The completed Modules will stay open, so you can always go back to previous lessons. I would advise you to follow the weekly schedule, in order to make the most of the forum activities.

I hope this course will meet your expectations, and I am looking forward to getting to know you! You can start by introducing yourself on the forum "Let's get to know each other"

Best,

Georgia
